New legislation would impact Mackinac Bridge tolls if signed into law

It was under the proto-MAGA state government regimes of Engler and Snyder'and gop controlled legislature that the roads and infrastructure of the state were allowed to deteriorate to hell. Had the Mackinac Bridge been part of the state highway budget during those years, it would already be a pile of rusty girders collapsed into the lake.

The plan here is simple:

1) Cut off all toll revenue for the bridge

2) The bridge authority says it needs considerable money for repairs and maintenance

3) The MAGA Fascist party cites its solemn promise to Grover Norquist to never ever raise taxes for any reason, so they stonewall the request

4) The bridge authority responds without constant and proper maintenance the bridge will deteriorate

5) The fascist party blames Obama and claims the bridge wss built in part by lazy welfare mooching neegros

6) After a few years some shocking accident occurs. The fascist party cites this as proof the bridge should be sold off to some convenient billionaires. Stunningly they have a list on hand.

 

Yeah, the Dems have a trifecta in Lansing. This bill is going to get the same treatment Lou Brown gave to Roger Dorn's contract. Well, maybe not the same since Whitmer is a woman.
