If Deion wins at Colorado and wants to stay in Dallas, what makes you think he'd settle for the SMU job? He didn't play for them.

He got good at it last year with Trey Benson, Johnny Wilson and Jared Verse coming in as real difference makers and he finally stop dicking around with shitty QBs and focused on developing Jordan Travis. Those first two transfers had some decent guys like Fabian Lovett and Jammie Robinson, but they also had a lot of trash like DJ Willliams and Andrew Parchment and a bunch of crap-assed offensive linemen.

But I do agree that it has absolutely opened up the ability to put together a seriously strong high school class for 2024.

Why? Money, lots of it, and SMU's move to the ACC.

I daresay the coach of the Cowboys will always make more than the coach of SMU.

Whatever Deion is making now (somewhere between $5.5-$6M) is probably comparable to what Mike McCarthy is making. A few hundred thousand less?

Riley Leonard with a nifty job shedding a tackle and scrambling for a go-ahead touchdown. Clemson might want to stop playing with its food.

Can’t believe you're forgetting his biggest early get: Jermaine Johnson.

    Keir Thomas, too.

Thing is I think this is just what Clemson is now.

These are always so well done each week. I don’t know how they get them done in less than 24 hours. The perks of having the talent of a top film school, I guess.

If Clemson were trying to throw this game, how would you tell the difference?
