Did you read the methodology of that poll? They oversampled Republicans to reach something like 60-65 percent Republicans in the totals. And there was no breakdown of ages/demos/pretty much anything else.

Better headline: Republicans prefer Republican over Biden.

Biden is not very good television as a performer or a subject. CNN's ratings have completely tanked since he was inaugurated. So for "Americans" substitute the words "my bosses."
