I guess I'd be in a bunch of trouble if I am ever called to testify before congress because if I was asked a question, and some jerk continued to spew off at the mouth, my response would be:
"Well, if you'd shut the fuck up, I'd be happy to respond."

 

Also, age comes up a lot around here. I read a story this morning when federal judges decided to suspend one of their own because she is 96, still hearing cases, and refuses to undergo a mental eval.
She was appointed by Reagan. I'm sorry, but nobody 96 needs to be a judge.

 

I was thinking the same thing, along with, "Congressman, you also can take that hostile fuckin' attitude of yours and shove it up your hostile fuckin' ass."

You guys are demonstrating why average citizens never ever get called to testify to Congress. Even the dumbest Reps know full well that'd be the kind of answer they'd get and moreoever, that the citizen would then become a national hero. Only folks with skin in the game get called to testify, along with the occasional celebrity with a cause to push (nothing wrong with that, of course).
