I lost all respect for McCarthy when he led the CA contingent to vote for the 2017 (?) tax bill that totally shafted us CA residents. Idiot couldn't even leverage our great state into at least some of the spoils from the omnibus tax bill. Instead he hung us out to dry for what?? This stupid photo op? Nice job dude.

 

McCarthy is blaming the events of the day on the Democrats. A putz and an unserious person.

 

Even as he's run out of town he still continues to prop up the assh*les who pushed him out; how stupid are you? Or should I say how stupid do you think we are to buy what he's saying? Hmm let's see if all Dems vote against me I still would have won.....yet they're the evil ones, not the 6 with the (R) next to their name?

For Trumpists, it's really cause for alarm that there are so many college graduates in Health Professions and Biology because going to college might tend to make them believe in the efficacy of vaccines.
And the 9% of the population majoring in Arts or Journalism? Terrifying.

I've wondered about this as well, not least because there are a couple of major evangelical pastors I actually like to listen to fairly regularly.

The only thing I can come up with is that Trump supporters among evangelical pastors are backing their strong pro-life issue more than they are Trump, or even the Republican party, per se. It's the cause, not so much the candidate. And in many cases, I can believe that.

 

Would love to hear a comment from the Lord and Savior -- between one of his klan rallies and court appearances -- about whether he'd serve as Speaker. That would put some folks in a bind. If it ever happens, you know the coup is on. If it doesn't get shot down immediately, you know we have a profound threat to democracy on our shores.

 

There are some harsh words in the Bible for those who put earthly power above the tenets of their faith. But for evangelicals (of more religions than Christianity I must add) the subordination of women to men is the one True Scripture.
