Probably not.

 

HIPAA allows a hospital to confirm whether there’s a patient there. Otherwise how would you get the condition of a car crash victim, etc.?

 

I hate HIPAA. I used to get some fascinating medical stories - like the guy who could fart through his dick while at a urinal. Apparently it smelled awful.
