I saw "Red Dawn" was a trending topic. Being a fan of the original movie (WOLVERINES!!!) and loather of the remake, I was worried a second reboot was underway - since Hollywood is out of ideas. I wish it was the case. Instead, it's a bunch of MAGA conspiracy theorists freaking out because the motorcade for China's Xi Jingping was held on closed off streets in San Francisco. Some Chinese-Americans were also holding Chinese flags as they watched the motorcade pass. The HORROR! I saw calls for MAGAs to buy more ammo. I saw one guy with more than 500,000 followers saying all the "illegal aliens" coming over the Mexican border were really UN soldiers ready to spring into action when the time comes to declare martial law.

We live in the dumbest of times.

 

That may be true, but I think it is only a matter of time before some of the crazies or some the militia groups decide that the only way to get the change they desire is to start killing the politicians and judges they disagree with. See Paul Pelosi, although that doer was a lone crazy.
