Didn't Ohio State win the College Football Playoff with its third-string quarterback (Cardale Jones)?

I wonder if they are going to do the "live reveals" like March Madness. Could get violent. :)

One of the great sports stories in my lifetime. Loved Cardale.

Just let Herbie pick the four teams in August. Why have a season? Florida State ought to turn down its bowl bid. Let ESPN eat the time slot.

A year or so ago I said something to the effect of "When they leave an undefeated P5 conference champ out I'll eat my fucking hat" ... better go preheat the oven.

Another reason to be pissed at Auburn for not finishing off Alabama.

The committee will pretend ESPN didn't make these choices. But that's what happened and it's beyond obvious. If CBS still had the SEC next year, Fla. St. would be in.

They keep harping on the "Look at the last couple of games" idea, as if needing Fourth-and-31 against a shitty Auburn team never happened.
