God knows they did their best to give it away.

I like the rules that encourage more offense. But don't penalize the defense for finding legal ways to stop it by ignoring one of the basic rules of offense: No more than four players off the LOS.

This Csonka fan says this Miami team showed all the classic signs of thinking they were better than they were; nice job taking your helmet off Chubb; nice work in Red Zone O (well when you’re not gifted the ball at the 5); Tua holding the ball too long when it’s a 3 step drop and the D just giving it to the Titans in last two drives.

I wonder how much of it was Hill missing much of the game with that ankle injury. He didn't return in the first half and was limited in the second.

Hill’s case for MVP got a boost last night and everyone saw it. They were shit without him.

That's what I was thinking. I hate to admit it because I can't stand Hill, but that offense is nothing special without him.

I thought Clint Longley proved that 50 years ago. Or was it Roger Hogeboom? Can't keep these miserable Dallas QBs straight.

Gary Hogeboom. Unless you’re Tom Landry. Then it’s Hoganboom.

Cripes, the NFC is so bad that I now have to uncross off the Bears and Giants, who are both now just one game out of the 7 seed and trending in the right direction. Those two games against Philly don't look quite as daunting for the Devitos and they'll get a chance head-to-head against two other teams they're slap fighting in the race for the 7 seed (Rams, Saints).

Proof positive they have finally gone too far in expanding the playoffs.

This was a parity week. The lowly rose up and smote the not-quite-mighty. My caution to fans of teams who're now kinda-sorta in playoff contention is look what happened to the Packers last night. Their "watch out for these guys" aura lasted all of one game week. IMO the main story this week was that the 49ers again suffered no injury to their vital personnel. Every time that happens they're another step close to winning the Super Bowl by 20 points or more.
