Deadspin used to do a bit in March called "Dumb Shining Moment" full of bloopers and goofiness. I feel like the editor here veers between the two.

 

A lot of people enjoying these "fuckin' stupid exhibition games that serve no purpose."

 

And yet the rest of college football seems to get by just fine without them.

 

Squint just right and you can almost see Saban telling him to take the bus with the cheerleaders back to Tuscaloosa ...

 

It takes some gumption for him to want back on the horse with his bonus year after that very public meltdown. His best bet may be moving to guard, where his Steve Blass disease won’t matter.

 

Eh, then he would pull a Brandon Burlsworth (RIP) and trip his quarterback and make him fumble the most important play of the season.
