They really need to come up with a better term, because it always has to be followed with (meaning he will read them the jury instructions).

Otherwise, just say, "Judge instructs the jury that after closings he will read them the jury instructions."

 

Cripes, yesterday I bought a shirt-jacket just like that at Wal-Mart in north Jersey. It was marked down to $23.

I was in the statehouse in Montpelier the other day and as I took this shot a guy stops and says "They call that the LL Dean painting."

 

I didn't know just getting up and walking out in the middle of court was a thing.

 

In my younger days, we called it "taking my ball and going home."

 

The question is whether the judge will call it contempt of court. I would not be surprised to see some of those charges applied before this trial ends. Judge Kaplan is not one to be trifled with.

I suspect that the jury is not going to be favorably impressed by the defendant throwing a tantrum.

 

Which means the fundraising emails go out tonight.
