MTV made that guy king of the world for about ten minutes in 1987.

    RIP.

Interviewed him once when he came through Toronto at the height of his "fame". Hilarious guy, probably the most memorable interview I have done. Though the recent pics I had seen made it look like he had eaten his partner at the time, Skid Roper.

The first Mojo Nixon song I ever heard, and possibly his best. It's more a protest song than a rocker.

Saw them open for Bob Dylan when I was in college (Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, 1989). Their set was a lot better than his (his setlist was great -- his performance was awful)

After Jim Walewander and the Dead Milkmen gave each other their respective 5 in 1987...

“A cardiac event on the Outlaw Country Cruise” is a song all its own.

I've always thought Bob Dylan is awful, anyway.
Wrote some great songs, but he can't sing worth shit.

    YMMV. Tell us why, though?
