Yes. Too soon. I should have made that joke. Too soon.

I hope he finds the real killer. Somehow, with this cancer diagnosis, I don’t think that will happen. I feel he is so close to finding the killer; as close as looking into the mirror.

we live in a society that would rather say fuck cancer than do anything about it.

What will O.J. Simpson do when he comes face to face with the real killer?
    Shave.

You mean besides adding 3 months to your life and draining your assets?

I've got a couple of stories that fit that narrative and two that blow it out of the water, but I'm not sure anybody wants to hear hopeful stories about cancer on this thread.

There are a lot of avenues for help with fighting cancer, provided you’re lucky like me and live in the northeast near Dana Farber, Yale, and Sloan Kettering, and are a member of a strong union in which most of your bills are completely covered. Helps to have a network of loving family and friends and anonymous internet posters who exhort you to keep pounding.

I won’t comment on OJ. Like, I love the Holdovers right up until Paul Giamatti’s character says another guy is penis cancer in human form. That just will never be funny to me again, though not sure it ever really would have been; a lame joke in a film otherwise rife with great zingers.

I won't speak for Boogie, but I suspect he is glad there are ways to fight cancer just as I am. I also suspect his attitude toward this thread is similar to mine. I've posted at length about the ways cancer has touched my life in other threads. I've written about the family it has taken from me and the friends who kicked its ass. I doubt I would ever shed any tears for O.J. Simpson, but I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone and I won't root for it to do what it does to anyone.

That is always eating an ice cream sandwich for the ears for 90 seconds.
