I flew back from Tampa today. On my flight was a person in an Ashli Babbitt t-shirt, another in a “when I die don’t let me vote democrat” hat and another in a “God bless Donald Trump” hat. I said something to the Ashli Babbitt shirt person, which was a mistake.

 

Travelled all day yesterday and didn't see one red hat. I did sit next to a guy with the worst fukin breath ever, which was enough for me to put my mask on.

 

"She get her shot? I did."

 

The early conventional wisdom was that Smith would not go this route, lest he risk rejection and piss off the judge further. But at this stage he has nothing to lose.

This is pretty good. People are not going to like his knocking Biden, but he's stating the facts. "These are the two oldest presidential candidates on record, breaking their own record from four years ago." OTOH, he's Jon Stewart. Older, wiser, maybe a bit less glib, but a voice that has been missed.

I’ll add, too, that Stewart has been sincere in his support of 9/11 responders - the health care issue is slippery but still - and I’m guessing, in the course of those relationships, he’s probably encountered his share of Trump supporters.
