    Honestly, she could have had a sense of humor about the thing. Mentioning how flattered she was to have an Oscar-nominated actress portray her, how she won't be giving acting lessons to the Hollywood liberals, and won't TAKE any advice on politics from them etc. But now she is going the Palin "Im the victim" card route. Please.

    I will say this as a Southern American who has spent his entire adult life spelling and trying pronounce people's names and someone whose own last name has a single vowel that could be a coin flip, , 99.999999999% of people aren't doing it on purpose. They are doing the best they can.

    I'd say people whose job it is to broadcast events aren't trying if they keep mispronouncing famous names to millions of TV viewers.

    Tennis umpires make the effort. "Advantage, myed-VYED-ef."
    American broadcasters? "MED-ve-dev."
