Alex Trebek/Jeopardy Tribute Thread

I like the concept of 3 wins, but do the tournament every Friday for however many weeks. That mixes it up and prevents the same folks on all week.

 

My older one is home from college for Spring break and we have been watching every night. I am getting a little concerned that my dominance is being threatened.

 

I find Ben annoying AF, and always have been.

 

Something slightly fake about him. Yogesh mashing the button like it owes him money never gets old.

 

My wife wants to know why Troy sits in a chair.

We ALWAYS fast forward the get-to-know part of the program. I can't fathom what Ken is squeezing out of these dolts by this time.

My wife looked it up and no explanation was given for Troy to sit. Jeopardy says all contestants have the opportunity to sit.

 

My favorite segment was when Alex interviewed a guy a few years ago. He said he once sold socks to Meryl Streep in Albany. Alex didn’t even acknowledge the guy and went onto the next contestant.

 

Jeez, he could have at least said, "Were they Prada?"

 

That gets you a half-like.

 

My thought was a bad back because he sits so awkwardly. Or he is really tall and it looks better for him to sit (some people stand on lifts).

 

These guys are no Sam Buttrey.

 

I think that Troy is an elite player. Yogesh is maybe a 1/4 step below.

 

The TOC finally ends, and they’re starting some other tournament tomorrow? C’mon …
