I hate Groves like he's a Duke kid.

As a fan of a mid-major who got to play UVA in the first round of the tournament and won, there’s nothing more energizing than learning you’re going to play an ACC team that forfeits every recruiting advantage it has by playing at a pace that levels the playing field.

It’s a miracle they won a national title.

They aren’t even defending that well. Got some turnovers but letting CSU shoot 53 percent.

If you think Virginia fans are mad now, wait until they get the email tomorrow telling them they need to donate more to the NIL kitty in order to compete.

I'll say this for the committee: It had balls to put this team in the field. It is now going to get the disdain it deserves for trusting a team that got blown out half a dozen times.

Make them go back on TV. America demands answers.

I actually turned off a NCAA Tournament game to watch a NIT game.

There was no ransom or any other force majeure involved.

    Fuck off, Virginia.

    It’s a shame K-State and Iowa couldn’t both lose.

The committee gives zero fucks. I'm convinced that the committee wraps up Saturday afternoon, and brings in the hookers and blow.

Virginia scored twice as many points in the second half as it did in the first. If it had managed to triple its output, then the Cavaliers only lose by 10.

In other words, this was an all-time clunker.

CSU scored 40 points in the second half. That's a lot in general, but almost what Virginia scored total.

Obviously Virginia shouldn't have been in. But CSU wasn't a First Four team either.

    42 points, shooting 25%. That's seriously fugly.
