Another $2 million for the Pac-2. The Pac-12 is 5-0 so far, yet all year we heard how bad it was.

Charles Barkley is one of my favorite human beings. Totally classy on the TBS postgame, giving Yale just tons of credit (as he should). He's a joy to watch, TBS does have a great tournament studio show. I know he wanted Auburn but he's not being a homer by any means.

 

Why do people think SEC fans like Sankey?

 

For the same reasons the shareholders of Standard Oil liked John D. Rockefeller. Greg Sankey is extremely good at his job, which is to maximize revenue for his business.

 

Why do people think fans of SEC teams root for other SEC teams?

This seems to put me in the minority around here, but I don't give a single fuck about the revenue streams for my school's conference. Means less than zero to me.

My middle brother is Yale '74. Tommorw's his birthday. When I call I'll mention the game, but he has never ever mentioned Yale basketball since he graduated. I'll be curious to see his reaction.
