He coached the Toledo Mud Hens for the last 30 years. He’ll fit right in with JMU’s te concept.

You probably would be if you had Musselman's background, living in Southern California and going to college there.

The Musselmans already wearing Trojan gear, nice!

Chris Beard already being touted as the leader in the clubhouse to replace Muss. Beard has some familiarity with at least the central part of the state, having started at Little Rock.

He will be back at Texas in two or three years. DV charges dropped. They desperately did not want to promote Rodney Terry, but the 2023 run left them no choice. Like every Black coach, Terry will be marginalized as an”DEI hire” and will be undercut at the earliest opportunity.

Musselman's longest coaching stint has been with the, let me see... The Rapid City Thrillers/Florida Beach Dogs of the CBA and IBA. He seems to wear out his welcome pretty quick everywhere he goes, and I suspect it won't be that much different at USC. It's a running gag at another message board I'm on that you could count on Bryant (under Grasso) and Arkansas reaching out to every single player with a pulse during transfer recruitment, and I wonder if that'll hold with the move to USC.

I'm really not understanding it either. Folks are making it sound like he is the key to getting Warren Stephens to start dropping millions into the NIL fund.
