Well, it's the "illegal" part that's relevant, not the "vote buying."

Helping citizens with student loan debt is bad. But forgiving PPP loans for people like Rep. Pat Fallon ($500,000) is good!

Pretty light sentence. Anything under two years seems light to me.

Dildos out, dildos in. ... The new ones can't walk or talk, though.

The PPP loans CAME with terms that basically said, "If you follow the guidelines on using these loans --- i.e. continuing to pay your employees --- the loans will be forgiven."

It wasn't like these "forgiven" loans were used to by a yacht --- or they sure as hell weren't supposed to be. They paid the out-of-work employees . . . many of whom likely also had student loan debt.

He showed up to court in sweats, not a suit. H knew he was going straight out the back door on the way back to Rikers.

"It won't counter-act the Roe v Wade tsunami." Let's not assume this, ok? Glad to see Democrats upping their ground game, a bit too late for my tastes, but don't rely on some court decision — no matter how reviled it is — from 2.5 years ago to make the difference in turnout.

Yeah, it's only happened in every election everywhere since the decision, but no reason to think it's a trend.

Yeah not really. Plenty of sole proprietors with no employees but themselves got PPP loans too and got them forgiven (raises hand). And it was perfectly legal.
