Yeah - people using that word "complicated" for OJ - dagger to the heart.....oops. (too soon).

Half a thought - no prayers. Hope they use the white Bronco for the funeral.

I was living in Buffalo at the time of the verdict. On the SUNY-Buffalo campus it was kind of celebratory as I think OJ was still a pretty well loved figure there. I can guess that sentiment changed over the years to come.

For better or worse that trial opened the doors of the justice system to anyone who wanted to watch. So many notorious figures emerged whether it was Lance Ito or Marcia Clark, Chris Darden, Johnnie Cochran, Robert Shaprio, Mark Fuhrman,...

If AC is driving, that's the last AC he'll ever get.

I was enamored with him and the football program. That is one of the reasons I wanted to attend USC, even though my junior college counselor was pushing me toward Cal State Northridge (hahaha). I met him once (1970) when we had a high school field trip to the museums in Exposition Park. At lunchtime, we were throwing a football around in the park and up came a Corvette. It was OJ. He parked right next to us, chatted and signed autographs. After a few minutes, we heard someone call out, "Hey Juice, come on, we're late." It was Mike Garrett. He was running up the museum steps, carrying his Heisman Trophy. OJ had his, too. There was some sort of display happening at the museum and they were there for that.
RIP. You were great until your life turned the way it did.

As for the Bronco chase, I was at a pizza restaurant with my wife's family. The place had just put in a TV, but the owner had strict rules about no volume. I tried to talk the manager into turning up the volume, but she wouldn't. I said I know the owner and I will take responsibility if he gets mad. This is American history in the making. Please let us hear it. She finally did. All was OK with the owner.

ADD -- The civil trial was at the courthouse across the street from my high school (the police station and the civic auditorium where they once held the Oscars are there, too). The hotel they were using used to be the Board of Education. It's right next to the baseball field. Rick Monday would hit homers that broke windows at the Board of Education.

Here’s Lee Roy Jordan posing with a couple of pieces of shit at the 1969 Gridiron Dinner, courtesy of a state politics Facebook account I follow.

Unfortunately, OJ will be on A1
    tomorrow all across the country.

At least use a convict photo, OK?

The grim reaper was spotted slowly driving a white ford bronco in the vicinity of O.J.’s house today.

Maybe do a minimum amount of vetting before you put a stranger on TV in front of 30 million people? Or fucking CUT IT OFF 5 SECONDS AFTER YOU HEAR THE STEPIN FETCHIT ACCENT AND "QUITE THE TENSIS"?
I mean, you're joking here, right?

I heard OJ and Ray Lewis used the same dry cleaners.

Also, a good reminder to get screened for prostate cancer.

Maybe if he wears his disguise, nobody will recognize him.

The thing that struck me after that trial was the racial divide on his innocence or guilt. Every black person I knew was convinced he was innocent. Every white person was convinced he was guilty.

Coming just two years after the Rodney King verdict and the riots, it was kind of understandable that we had that difference of opinion.
