The drama at No. 12 in 2019 was incredible. Koepka and Poulter in the water in the group ahead of Tiger. Molinari and Finau in the water in Tiger's group. When Tiger hit into the middle of the green, his charge seemingly became unstoppable.

Tigger let the other guys feel the pressure. He’d been there before.

Exactly! Fuzzy's makes cool commemorative bottles for the Indy 500, for those who celebrate.

One interesting development from this week's media lottery: a TV reporter won a spot and it will be her first round of golf. Ever. I saw it on a social post and people were losing their shit in the comments: she's gonna shoot a million, should give up the spot to someone who plays, disgrace to the game, etc., etc.

I think it's great. She's not gonna shoot a million because the club won't stand for that. Who knows, maybe she's TopGolf-competent and can get a couple good swings per hole and make a putt somewhere. Other than that? Will be the best Monday walk ever. It also might be her last round ever because good luck enjoying the local muni after this, but would also be a helluva mic drop. "Have you ever played golf?" "Yeah, once. At Augusta National."

They will give her the caddie whose specialty is coaxing the incompetent guests of members around the course. He will be giving impromptu lessons on each shot.
PS: I have been playing for a very long time and being a old New Englander with a middling high handicap at this time of year I am not at all sure I could play Augusta better than she will.

A live look at Tiger's reaction to his 82:

Thanks for 2019, Tiger, but at this point you’re just another former Masters champion hobbling around the course for a nostalgic romp.

Yeah. I haven’t been an able to watch today, but based on yesterday I’ve gotta think this is it. I don’t think he’ll keep going out if he can’t break 80.

The Champions Tour with a cart is possible, perhaps.

Reminds me of Paul Harvey’s great line after Nicklaus shot a round in the 80s at the British Open.

“I’ve always wanted to play golf like Jack Nicklaus. Now I do.”

I just don't see a world where Tiger feels the need to play on the Champions Tour. He has more money than he can possibly spend, his body is broken. I just don't see it.

Looks like there are some scores out there. Tom Kim at -5 for the day, Si Woo Kim and Kurt Kitayama both at -3.

I think the field let Scottie off the hook yesterday. Homa needs to show some dog to have a chance. Played a total turtle game yesterday, but that won't do today. Needs birdies.

Morikawa has been here before at a major. I don't think he wilts. Aberg, who knows? Dude's a robot.

Still, I think Scottie takes control at Amen Corner today and wins by two or three shots.
