Some fun "What if?" guys in that group.
What if the Jags hang on and beat the Patriots in the AFC championship game during Bortles' one good season?
What if Bridgewater doesn't get his leg mangled in Minnesota?
What if the 49ers hang on in Super Bowl 54 against the Chiefs and Garoppolo gets a ring? Or they beat the Rams in the NFC championship game and he gets to a second Super Bowl?
That group could've been remembered much differently with a few different twists of history.

Also, props to A.J. McCarron for sticking around for 10 years as a backup and still going strong in the UFL. That's livin' the dream.

What if future Hall of Famer Nathan Peterman doesn't throw that one interception??

Higgins requested a trade a while ago. Now Hendrickson wants out, too.

That 2017 AFCCG was as fixed as the day is long. Myles Jack was not down by contact, the NFL was just freaking out over the possibility of Jacksonville vs. Philly/Minnesota and couldn't have the Patriots down 27-10 in the fourth quarter.

There was never any chance the Steelers would commit to paying Fields over $25 million for the 2025 season before he had even played a snap for them, certainly not based on his resume to this point and the possibility that he might be a backup all of 2024. They may try to sign him to an extension before he hits free agency, but that's just way too much based on the information currently available.

Yes, they are likely going to go into next offseason without a quarterback. They made that choice the moment they gave up on and traded Pickett.

All of them, including the Ravens, who took Hayden Hurst at 25 before moving back into the first round to select Jackson at 32.

Gerry Dulac seems to believe they’ll work out a contract with Fields before the season begins.
