Sounds like a swell guy. Already playing the victim card that the left is trying to bring him down.

Russell Brand is one of the least surprising of them all.

No joke. Comes across as one of the most likely people to get outed as a complete sleaze.

You know when some old person dies, and we start an RIP thread? And then people post, "I thought that he was already dead"?

That's how I feel about Russell Brand in the MeToo thread.

There is some speculation on Twitter that Brand’s strong turn to the right over the last while has been in anticipation of these allegations coming out. Now he has all the right allies in place while he complains about cancel culture etc.

I'm guessing the Diddy settlement has helped spur a new industry for lawyers. Instead of doing the NDAs, get it on the back end by going public with abuse claims. Axl Rose and Jamie Foxx today alone.

Foxx and Rose cases both in New York. There's a bit of a time element, as the Adult Survivors Act is about to expire. This is what it is:

Governor Kathy Hochul today signed the Adult Survivors Act (S.66A/A.648A), creating a one-year lookback window for survivors of sexual assault that occurred when they were over the age of 18 to sue their abusers regardless of when the abuse occurred.

Edit to add: Diddy and new Cosby case NY as well
