The entire idea behind "flatten the curve" was not to "stem" it. To the contrary, it was to drag it out so people would be infected over a longer time to prevent hospitals from being overrun. "Millions will be infected" was the given. "Let's see if they can become infected over 6-8 months instead of 1-2 months" was the goal.

I can't believe they let him be in front of a non-controlled crowd. He hasn't seen that in years. Along with the bullshit Bronx rally stuffed with supporters, so were his other NYC stops, with the bodega and construction workers. All cultivated supporters. Same with the woman at the Chick-fil-a, where ever that was.

All of them, every last one, are stage-managed to make it look like more support than he has. And to boost his ego and protect his feefees.
