    That was incredible!

    Newgarden's been my driver since his rookie season with Sarah Fisher Racing. But my 6 year old loves Pato O'Ward more than I think have ever cared about a driver, so I was hoping he'd pull it off.

    Regardless, it was a fantastic race.

    Did you know Borg-Warner funds a cash award that rolls over from year to year if someone doesn't win consecutive Indy 500s?

    Josef Newgarden just claimed $440,000.

    Did not know that. I miss Robin Miller's annual rant about how Indy 500 drivers should get more money, though the purse has been on the rise in recent years.

    Missed Indy today, but watched Monaco. It was unsurprisingly boring, but I was glad to see Leclerc finally win there and to see Max on the podium.

    The red flag really sapped any drama that could have possibly come from when the pit window old have opened under normal circumstances. After that, no one was racing hard enough make a mistake that could led to an overtake or two.
