What's the Wordle?!

No, I'm just a disappointment to my kind. My students love (the word). It just took me too long before I realized it was a possibility.

Got one of my rare 2s yesterday.

 

Wordle pretty easy. Connections a little too "inside." I imagine the "easiest" was probably the one that stumped the most people.

 

I liked the creativity of today’s Connections, if not the execution.

 

I was trying to find common bonds from the movies themselves. Prison films? Directors? Sequels? Reboots?

 

So my games subscription ran out. I can still play everything except for Spelling Bee, which cuts you off after like six guesses if you're not a subscriber. I'm not paying $6 a month to play the fucking spelling bee, so I'm done.

 

I think the yellow, green, blue, purple categories should have been blue, purple, yellow, green respectively. Yellow I had to look up to get the reference.

 

I actually went reverse order today. Purple to Yellow....

 

I call ABSOLUTE BS on the purple category of today's Connections. One of the so-called answers doesn't fit because it is preceded by a conjunction unlike the other three answers. BOOOOOOO. BOOOOO!!!

 

It's still better than referencing the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn and claiming it was the easiest of the categories.

 

Yeah, the only people west of the Hudson who are familar with the "Dumbo" designation are avid New Yorker readers. Not even sure I've heard it referenced on Law and Order.
