    I don't think the Democrats have a candidate among the usual suspects that will beat Trump. They are running as incumbents against economic anxiety. Maybe someone younger and more articulate fares better than Biden, but they make the most unfit person on earth absurdly viable.

    JD Vance strikes me as the kind of guy who would befriend Donald Trump Jr. as a way to advance himself. I can totally see himself hanging out with him then going home to his wife and railing about what a fucking moron he is.

    Ragu, do you think the Democrats overplayed their hand on J6 and the impeachment and criminal charges against Trump?

    If they had it to do over again would it have been best to just let bygones be bygones, don’t charge anyone for anything on J6, (because, after all, nobody was charged for anything with the “summer of love” protests).?
