I look at this and can’t help but think of Kamala as a child with big dreams. Here she is, looking to fulfill not just her dreams but the dreams of millions who came before her and will yet to come.

She was a little kid, riding a bus to integrate a California school. She is going up against a man who actively prevented people who looked like her from renting apartments.
