Once the immediacy of extreme partisanship ends, I think Joe Biden will be remembered fondly. Beat trump. Led us out of the pandemic. Got some big meat and potatoes legislation passed with slim margins. Helped avoid what was a certain recession. A 50-year career, and put country before party and himself when it looked bleak for beating trump again.

I will always find it comical and ridiculous that the trumplicans tried to make this guy some evil villain. So pathetic.

edit to add: did great work lowering drug prices. It has been an effective presidency. And he can retire going 1-for-1 as the nominee.

 

I like to think Donald’s debate “win” is going to be the most pyrrhic of victories.

I can already predict the new trumplican conspiracy theory. Biden tanked the debate on purpose to set up Harris. Again cheating and treating Donald so unfairly.

 

Love to see him keep kicking the smoldering corpse, but it's time to wrap it up.

 

Biden doesn’t have many more major speeches left. This is a very good one. Very much passing the torch.
