I grieve that he went through the horrors of cancer before finding peace. And I pray that all of you stay healthy and that your families are, too.

So sad. Rest in Peace. I'd love to see some of his pre-diagnosis posts, if anyone has any favorites.

Don't really know what to say.
Just seems like CD was a grinder, sandpaper. Tough, and unafraid of speculating about the unknown.
Worried about his family, who worried about him.
I prayed for him. Hope he found peace.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck etc.

Every time I saw this thread pop up, I was hoping it would be Boogie announcing that he was cancer-free, or at least in remission. He fought this so courageously, and I know it’s cliche, but he didn’t lose his fight. He ran out of time:

RIP. May his memory be a blessing.

    Damn.

Courage and strength to Boogie's family -- he had plenty of both.

I'd like to think I could show some myself in a similar situation, but I don't know. Of course you never really know until the time arrives.

Probably like a lot of others here, I had been wondering how CD Boogie was doing, and, a couple of weeks ago, I finally sent him a PM to try to find out.

Every day since, I signed onto here and, mostly, it was to check if I'd received a response to the PM. And every day, I was disappointed, and more worried all the time, not to see one, even if it were just a brief "I haven't been feeling well, and just haven't been up to posting lately."

The last few days, I have to admit, I've been fearing the worst, and I'm sorry to hear about his passing. RIP, CD Boogie. You fought a good fight, trying everything you could, including experimental treatments, in trying to live your one life. Rest easy now. I wish only blessings and good memories for your family and friends.
