Don't know if it's been mentioned but some nut shot and killed four people on a Chicago transit train. IIRC, at least three were sleeping.

Yeah, in two different cars. Police able to identify him from videos but those people were just riding the train at night and got snuffed. Crazy world.

My apologies. Didn't intend my Chicago-related post as a response to @SoloFlyer.
    Sorry for any confusion.

I am in a new classroom. I’m sizing up my room to see how I can defend it. And that makes me sad.

What a man of god. Twice married jackhole whose second wife was previously his personal assistant.

    No worries. It's all interconnected.

    There are too many guns.

There are guns available to civilians that should not be.

It's still too easy to obtain a gun, either legally or illegally.

Too many gun owners are irresponsible in storing their firearms.

Too many children have easy access to guns.

Our healthcare system is woefully inadequate to help restrict the wrong people from obtaining a gun.

Our education system is woefully unequipped to turn every school building into a secure facility capable of deterring a mass shooting.

And our collective society is so morally bankrupt that there is no way we will ever have a consensus to enact meaningful change.

The moment we accepted innocent children being mowed down in an elementary school was the point of no return for this country.

I was at the state fair last week (which is really just a Sociological Museum of Bad Life Decisions writ large) and had to wince when I saw some kid toting around an inflatable gun he won as a prize that looked a lot like you see mass shooters use. And you wonder where it all begins.
