It's funny, although not really, how many of these Uncle Toms/Stepin Fetchits/Uncle Ruckuses that the right wing screechosphere barfs up as their designated house n****ers to prove "they have black friends too," end up personifying some of the worst of the black buck sex predator stereotype. Of course, almost every single Black figure elevated to positions of prominence in the right wing screechosphere is built ip to later be torn down: they don't intend that any Blsck or even moderately brown person will ever rise to any position of real power, they'll let them get close (Colin Powell and Condolezza Rice) before they cook up some disastrous scandal out of the collective colons of their white male patriarchy which requires fall guys and scapegoats, so there are the bandy designated neegros they can dump all their shit on.

That's the only reason they keep Black people around -- to eventually dump their shit on.

Thry know perfectly well that Mark Robinson is a fat spermy fingered porno booth cockfflogger, but he's an entertaining clown for a while, so that'll make it easier for them to act shocked and horrified when the time finally comes to chuck him over the railing. By virtue of being the Republican nominee in a state that decides statewide races on razor thin margins.

Why is he the Republican nominee? Because of the party's embrace of MAGA there's a huge chunk of primary voters who don't even believe the reporting on his personal foibles that normally would disqualify a conservative candidate. They actually had a decent choice in State Treasurer Dale Folwell and instead voted for Robinson. Same reason Republicans chose a homeschooling Moms 4 Liberty loon over their incumbent for state superintendent of schools who was doing a fine job.

Josh Stein is opening a significant lead over Robinson in the governor's race as regular voters have finally started tuning in. I'm starting to feel confident that race will be OK after worrying about it most of the last year. Robinson and the Looney Tunes school superintendent candidate have both become a drag on the GOP ticket and that's part of why North Carolina is suddenly in play for Harris. A lot of it is who she is and how much her campaign is investing here, but she's definitely benefiting from Robinson's drag on the ticket.

I fully expect Robinson to be a talking head on Newsmax or OANN by January.

 

Not if NC flips to Harris and Robinson can be painted as the scapegoat (it can't be the fault of the god emperor himself, of course). They'll wash their hands of the big fat smelly black pervert and his grifting wife so fast it'll make your head spin.
