    October will mark two full years since this so-called strike began. In the online news era, the public has felt minimal impacts while some journalists have crossed the picket line and new hires like Jon Salant have come on board.

    At 71, I could walk away. But I can’t. I owe it to my colleagues who had the courage to take a stand in October 2022.​


    LOL, yeah this retired college professor/part-time copy editor can't walk away because then there would only be like 2 people left on strike.
