Brett Favre reveals Parkinson's diagnosis during hearing on welfare funds scandal

On the one hand, concussions and brain injury are certainly very possible in Favre's case. OTOH, it sure is convenient that he has developed memory problems before a hearing about the abuse of welfare funds.

 

I don't believe memory loss is a symptom of Parkinson's.

 

I don’t know if anyone has already posted this, but I just read the Washington-Cincinnati game was the first NFL game since 1940 with no punts and no turnovers.

The Commanders have now had back-to-back games with no punts and no turnovers. Their past 17 consecutive possessions (spanning all three games) have ended with a score or an end of half/game.

 

Yet incredibly, they have affirmed their intent to remain in the country’s No. 41 TV market.

 

Yep. And the refs saw it. Tells you a bunch.

 

I’m surprised to see this didn’t get more attention, good or bad.

 

I don't know that I would want a freshly worn NFL cleat.

 

That's wild that he just untied the knot and they slipped off that easily. Good for him, too, making that kid happy.

 

Did the kid give him a bottle of Coke first?
