    What an incredible life.

    I got introduced to Kris Kristofferson as a kid because he was literally the only musician my old man liked and we wore his tapes out in the car.

    Took me a longtime to appreciate his music because I was full on into rejecting whatever my parents like, but once I did, I was grateful for knowing his catalog.

    Didn't know he was 88, though. Still younger than Willie.

    Texas might have a full month of mourning when Willie goes.
