I did some data diving tonight for the heck of it.
In Congressional districts currently held by Democrats, 40.38% of adults ≥ 25 have a bachelor's degree or higher.
In Trumpist districts, the rate is 32.17%.
Not a trivial difference. It explains why Trumpists aspire to eradicate the fedruhl Department of Education.
The 19 best educated districts and 26 of the top 27 are D.
Also not a surprise: The best educated district is the Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Midtown Manhattan (NY-12). What is amazing is the higher ed grad rate: 81.1%. The next highest (WA-7, most of Seattle) checks in at 68.4%. Huge difference.
Best educated Trumpist district: GA-6 (Alpharetta, Roswell, etc) at 58.45%.
