I think all of Twitter is down. Hopefully, it stays that way.

 

Sept 20 (Reuters) - The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said on Friday it intends to seek sanctions against Elon Musk after he failed to appear for court-ordered testimony for the regulator's probe into his $44 billion takeover of Twitter.

Today in "why is Bluesky trending on Twitter?"

 

I was joking about it with someone else and a random person, maybe an Elon stan, made a point that was interesting. He claimed their main reason for getting rid of it is blocks clog up their algorithms. I'd also read it was an ad problem, that people were essentially using it to circumvent ads. I'm not convinced that it wasn't just because Elon was throwing a tantrum for lack of attention.

 

Elon needs a lifetime ban on life.
