I loved my 30 minutes in Iuka.



Should've eaten lunch there after Walmart. Instead kept going, back up to Tennessee, and got the ticket for barely speeding.

Biden is 6-0 and about 178, as certified by credible medical professionals. Fatfuck is 5-11 1/2" and about 375 pounds (down from his max of about 420 in early 2001).

When I was driving up US 45 headed towards St Louis (and after passing through the famous Iuka) a deputy picked me up at the county line and tailed me for 10-12 miles, daring me to go a fraction above the speed limit. Finally he got bored or frustrated and flipped the blue lights to tell me I had a blinker light out. Verbal warning. Gee thanks Enos.

 

For many years my daddy basically was the largest employer in Iuka. He operated a shoe factory that made literally millions of men’s shoes for Sears from the early 60s to the early 90s. I drove down there from Nashville many times, and we’d frequently get fantastic tamales at a hole in the wall there.

 

There is definitely a story to be told about the Shoemakers of Iuka ...
