You're way overthinking this. The LAT owner runs in the same circles as Musk, Thiel, etc.

That was the Chicago Tribune, owned by Col. Robert McCormick, who at one point was good friends with FDR until he was elected and began the New Deal. Then McCormick hated his ex-friend for the New Deal and hated Truman as well. McCormick was looking for any reason to celebrate.

Every time people ask Harris "Why haven't you done these things already? You've had four years." I'd love to hear her respond with "Well, let me explain the branches of government, there is the executive, the legislative and the judicial...." While we had the House and the Senate for two years, we were kind of busy rescuing the economy and dealing with COVID, but we did pass the infrastructure bill. And then there are those items blocked by Republican appointed judges..."

The question is such nonsense. About as dumb as the right track/wrong track poll question.

She was the tiebreaker on enough Senate bills that she should be able to credibly say “I cast the deciding vote for (popular things go here).” That’s a way to demonstrate that she has been consequential and to nudge the discussion back to what she can and cannot do.

It's not dumb. It is intentionally misleading.

We should really be asking Mike Pence why he didn't do more during Infrastructure Week.
