Yup. Tariffs on foreign trade will make things more expensive, not less, but he will use them to justify is massive tax cut for billionaires.

Mass deportations of immigrants will also create more expense for businesses that are losing cheap labor, making inflation even worse.

Of course, corporations will go straight for price gouging all of us because they know the Trump administration will back them up.

 

You know, when the Yankees were down 3-0 someone was writing about great World Series matchups that turned out to be competitive duds, and 1976 had to take the cake. The Big Red Machine against the Yankees and the Reds mowed them down in four straight. And during the Bicentennial year to boot.
