I of course really enjoyed this season but I have to say that I thought that it could have used a couple of more episodes to flush things out before the finale. The last episode was great though.

The second season of The Diplomat is outstanding. Same as the first. Incredibly compelling show.

And now with Allison Janney, who continues her streak in being excellent in every role.

My wife and I were talking about that after last week's episode. I thought he was just there to create conflict and he certainly does that, but maybe they are giving him something of an arc of his own.

It is fun, and somewhat rare, when my wife, daughter, and I all love a show. The writing and the cast are outstanding. Of course, Harrison Ford is a treasure. There has never been a time in my life that he wasn't my favorite actor.

Agreed. How I Met Your Mother had been pretty lousy before she arrived in the final season. They gave her what seemed like an impossible task. They had built up her character for years, so how could she live up to the hype? She exceeded it. I think that was yet another reason why fans hated the finale so much. In a short time, she had created this loveable character and the damn writers did her wrong.

She was good enough on HIMYM, but I don’t think was anything special in terms of romantic chemistry with Ted. It was the classic case of a show which hung around too long as a cash grab, except here they needed to answer the question in the title and the stupidity of the last season/episode left such a bad taste that it overwhelmed much of the good will the show had earned.

To be fair Ted had the charisma of a soaked mop. Every other member of the main cast was a stone cold killer, meanwhile Ted is just the whiny weirdo they should have stopped being friends with. I think it's crazy that Milioti's role is the hardest one to nail in the final season, and they somehow manage to do that, but then completely botch so many other aspects of it. (Also, in case anyone is wondering, old poster Schiezainc still hates the end run of HIMYM with a burning passion.)

I thought that he had really good chemistry with Robin and Victoria. Not as much with Stella.
