I'm curious to see how NBC incorporates Snoop Dogg into their election night coverage.

HA! I was just thinking earlier this morning how Election Day is just like the Olympics, except the IOC is more corrupt. And NBC is just as jingoistic.

When covering games from the sidelines I always made sure not to wear the home team colors. A couple times I inadvertently had the colors of the opponent, and someone would lose their shit. Dude, it's a shirt, STFU.

“So Harris needs a strong showing in Maricopa County and has to at least match Joe Biden’s totals from 2020. Speaking of matches, did you know that Olympic gymnast and Arizona native Jade Carey was taught to not play with matches when she was a young girl. I’m sure she’ll take that lesson when she goes for the gold in 2028 …”

It's probably going to be NBC, but I'm at least going to flick over to whatever the hell is going on at Amazon with Brian Williams, James Carville, Shep Smith and a bunch of other "oh that person?" types.

Whether Oakland or Oklahoma, someone will be breaking store windows at midnight.

Waited an hour and a half in line. It’s 50 degrees and windy. Glad I didn’t wear shorts like some in the line. There was an older woman in a wheelchair behind me. Wished she could just go to the front of the line, but there were others with walkers and in wheelchairs ahead and farther back. Our state should adopt a better voting system, but that won’t happen because the powers that be don’t want everyone to vote.

I’ll make this bold prediction now: If Kamala takes Oklahoma, she wins the presidency by a wide margin!

The wife of a former co-worker died suddenly about a year ago. I saw a mention of it about a month after the fact on social media and I felt terribly because I liked him a lot and we completely lost touch when he and then I left our former employer. In poking around on the web to see if there was news as to what happened before I reached out to him, it turns out that Megyn Kelly wrote a lovely tribute. She and the deceased became friends because they lived near each other and I believe had kids in school together. I thought that I had her pegged completely wrong because how can a person who could write such lovely things be so hateful. It turns out that she either really is that hateful or at least plays the role on TV and social media very well.

Though American, I live over here in London. Fireworks breaking out all over tonight, I didn't think they'd take our election so seriously. :)

I read this with a British voice in my head. Made it just so lovely and I missed the blue font for a second.
