So do all the Trump voters want a dictatorship, or does a critical bloc of 'em now expect he'll make prices go down? Because he can probably get close to a dictatorship, but he sure can't get prices down.

You're right. Since David Cameron resigned in 2o16 over Brexit, they've had two women prime ministers and one whose parents were both from India. Plus, they've just made a black woman as their new leader. (Boris Johnson was sort of a parody of old money that everybody knew actually wasn't old money.)

If you agree with the decisions a dictator makes, it doesn't seem like a dictatorship. Cannot stress that enough.

The right most certainly thought COVID vaccine mandates were dictatorial in nature (not voted on). Just "We have this power to do this thing FOR YOUR OWN GOOD."

We're gonna need more jails for the Trump Revenge And I Just Don't Like You Tour. And who/what's gonna stop it?

My boss is a woman of color. She's also very wise.

We were talking yesterday afternoon, and she said, "If Harris is not elected, the only takeaway I can have is that most of America cannot be comfortable with a woman of color as their president."

I have a difficult time disputing her point this morning.

And with that, I'm with Cosmo. Done thinking and worrying about politics, at least for a while. Sports are easier on the mind and heart.

They call it Popularism - not un-popularism.

If you think the problem was, "Harris didn't say what her plans were," knowing that Donald Trump is saying shit like, "I have concepts of a plan," I'm not sure what to tell you ...

It actually started with Pete Rozelle telling him he would never own an NFL team.

I've been texting with my daughter for while now. I knew she would be upset. I wasn't prepared for just how angry she is about the result. As a woman, she feels disrespected and unsafe. I don't understand the women who stayed home yesterday. I don't understand the women who voted for Trump. I don't understand the fathers of daughters who voted for Trump. I'm usually very good at being a voice of reason for my daughter. Best I've got this morning is that we have to rely on Trump's incompetence to keep him from doing too much damage and that maybe Democrats can take back Congress in two years. I don't think that is offering much comfort.

Exact same thing that I was thinking.

My American flag already has come down, and its going in the trash. I hate for what it stands for.
