I know that this isn't nearely how it'll shake out, but as a casual fan (proud D-3 alum) I could live with those pairings on my December TV.

I can't wait for the ND-PSU snooze to see who gets trucked by Georgia.

Surprised that Louisville, not Vanderbilt was the only 3-loss team ranked.

Georgia State is a hell of a boat anchor, if you’ll pardon the pun.

And there's no shame in losing to Notre Dame, SMU and Miami each by seven points, which Louisville did.

    Ok
    I’ll climb on the limb.
Maction was fun at the start.
Now you have Ohio @winless Kent State in front of 2,000…….and that’s generous.
    Nah.
    This needs to end.
    I don’t know how. I don’t know why.
    It needs to end.

I'm willing to lay odds that at least one playoff game will be postponed due to weather. There is a huge difference between mid-November and mid-December in some of these stadiums. Big 10 country? Eugene? Freezing rain or snow. Provo? fuggadaboutit.
How long before they go to neutral sites for these games?

    That’s why it’s called a “home-field advantage.”
