The Miami teams of the 1980s approve of this tag team move.

Iowa State has not won a conference championship since 1912. This keeps up, and that streak will extend another year. Currently getting waxed 31-10 by a two-win Kansas team just before halftime at Arrowhead.

Michigan has the most predictable offense in the land.

    Maybe second to Army’s.

Despite that, the Black Knights use one of their patented long drives — 21 plays, 94 yards, 13:54 time of possession — to score and take command with a 14-3 at North Texas.

Maybe Army can keep it rolling next week against Notre Dame.

Things you did not expect to hear back in August (or maybe ever): Indiana leads Michigan 17-6 in a surprisingly close game in the third quarter, and Brad Nessler describes it as Michigan trying to pull the upset.

In one of the classic “We are Ole Miss” moments, Carson Beck fumbled on third down for Georgia and the ball squirted backwards. UGA back picks it up and loses even more yardage. But a Rebel grabbed his face mask to extend the drive as Georgia tries to rally late.

Reminiscent of the infamous 4th-and-25 lateral against Arkansas when all Ole Miss needed was a defensive stop to win the SEC West.
If Georgia scores on this drive and ends up winning, that will be one of the great underrated plays of the season.

Carson Beck has been awful for Georgia this year.

Ole Miss' defense bails itself out. Georgia panic alert continues.

Instead Ole Miss picks it off. There is one great SEC team and they just came aboard in July.

At what point are Carson Beck’s press clippings not enough to hold off being benched? If this was Joe Blow on a Liberty Bowl-bound team, it already would have happened.

Michigan’s coach, whose name I haven’t bothered to learn, has made an absolute hash of the clock at the end.
