Nobody blows a three-touchdown lead like the Chargers.

Few things shake my belief in a deity like the realization the Titans and Jags still have to play each other twice this year.

Nobody hands the game back after making up a three-touchdown deficit like the Bengals.

At 4-7 the Bengals need some help, but if they can catch the Steelers in two weeks, the schedule sets up nicely for them to get to 8-7 before closing with the Broncos and a second Steelers game.

If you think that's bad, take a peek at next week's crapfest of a schedule.

Problem is for the Bengals is they're going to need someone ahead of them to fall apart to really have a chance. They're 4-7, two back of Denver for the seven seed. They play Denver at home, so that's a chance to pick up a game there. But that Broncos' defense is legit and Denver's next three are pretty easy -- at Raiders, vs. Browns, vs. Colts. Realistically, Cincy is going to have to get to 9-8, which means finishing 5-1. They still have the Steelers twice and the aforementioned Broncos game along with Dallas and Tennessee on the road and Cleveland at home. Bengals' only wins this year are against Carolina, the Giants, Cleveland and Las Vegas. I don't see it. Taylor will probably take the fall for it.

Taylor will take the fall for two playoffless seasons (even though one was without Burrow) following going to the Super Bowl and AFC title game that came down the final seconds.

Not saying it's right, but NFL GMs/owners tend to have short memories.
