The fact that underdogs are plenty viable at home doesn’t disprove the notion that a conference is very good.

But yes, the Tide is straight buttcheeks. Nothing of value would be lost if they were denied an at large bid.

Oh, they'll beat Purdue by 50 at least. Cignetti saw Ryan Day punch in that style-points TD at the end today and will follow suit. Will be fun.

Feels like this was exactly the result that the committee didn't want. If IU loses by 60, then you've got an argument to keep them out. If they lose by 10 at the Shoe, then you've got rationale to keep them in.

    But this ... ????

Cal becomes bowl eligible by rallying late to beat Stanford in the greatest Big Game in ACC history.

Every one of those two-loss teams will have at least one (and perhaps 2-3) victories over ranked teams. At some point, you'd like to be able to say, "Yeah, we can beat X-caliber playoff team. We proved it."

Playing (and losing to) the one ranked team on your schedule doesn't speak all that highly of the conference.

I mean, we've seen the difficult schedules inflicted upon Georgia and Florida this season. Did any B1G team get stuck playing all the heavyweights? Somebody HAD to, correct? The one-loss teams sure didn't.

Noted T-shirt salesman and future Winnipeg Blue Bomber Jalen Milroe has to come out. Biggest liability on the field.

DeBoer has one chance to do a hard reset of the team culture this year and he better nail it. Whether he realizes it or not he’s coaching for his job in 2025.

Well, we're not going to hear from the Vandy pimp on Monday's SEC Shorts.

So all I can say is thank you, you've been a riot, and I do NOT want to see you again this season.
