I'd expect the Big 12 to reprimand him, that kind of behavior toward officials should be unacceptable from a "builder of men." Especially since it was his monumental stupidity on this final possession that put him in position to possibly lose the game. BYU should have been snapping from the 35 going in after what should have been a UC penalty.

 

Should have been unsportsmanlike for the 8.3 million people on the field before the game is over. But we have decided we won’t even do that to fans throwing trash on the field, much less a mere pitch invasion, to borrow a term. And ole alma mater was guilty of this too against Liberty and a flag would have been deserved.

 

Between this and the Utah AD, there's something about playing BYU that turns people into raving lunatics when it comes to the officials.

 

The way you feel about Alabama’s relationship with officiating went double for BYU back in the WAC days. Every school in that league was convinced things were titled towards the Cougars like a carnival midway game.

Looks like a misunderstanding or something, but this was a weird postgame exchange after Nebraska-Wisconsin last night. The big guy the cop runs after is Donovan Raiola, Nebraska's offensive line coach and uncle of their quarterback Dylan Raiola.
