Marcus Foligno on Mats Zuccarello's injury last week.
"His nut cup had a massive dent," Foligno said. "We thought he was gonna lose one nut, but it actually survived and he's got them both still."

Went to a Preds game recently against Edmonton. Nashville fans are the most boring, sit-on-their-hands fans. What a lifeless arena, other than the Edmonton fans who enjoyed the win.

Also, why does every $(*@$#* announcer have to scream and act like everything is End of the World? It's not. STFU and just announce the game sometimes.

Could be worse. I'm guessing he's back early to mid-January. Banking a lot of wins early helps. Just need to tread water for a bit.

Army had to do it, but feel bad for Bannister. Without his best player most of the season, multiple injuries on D.
I've read Montgomery had a good relationship with Kyrou.
We'll see. Best coaching change in franchise history occured near this time on the calendar not too long ago.
Wonder if Derek Lalonde is next? Stevie Y isn't going to fire himself.

Definitely feel bad for Bannister, but seemed like there was no real inspiration from the players with him. Too many no-show games.

With their offensive limitations (Montgomery's strong suit?) and his history with the organization and players, feels like it was only a matter of when and not if as soon as the Bruins made him available.

The quick timing reminds me of Boudreau going from D.C. to Anaheim.
Totally agree with you about the seeming lack of hunger.
This team tuned out Chief then Bannister, too, apparently.

Maybe this is common knowledge and I’m just finding out. But huh. Didn’t realize this was Ariana Grande’s introduction to the limelight.

I know you can't fire all the players, but ... this group got 2 coaches fired in less than a year, one of them a fire-and-brimstone guy and the other seemingly a calm tactitian. That really doesn't speak well to the character of that group, or to the room and culture that the GM has put together.
